Άρα στο επίκεντρο θα παραμείνουν οι ηλεκτρονικές πωλήσεις&nbsp; και προφανώς μεγάλη πρόκληση θα συνεχίσουν να είναι οι συμβουλές ηλεκτρονικά όπως και η ανάγκη συνεχούς εκπαίδευσης κλπ.</div>

<div>Who is it good for: Universal life can be good for someone looking for lifelong coverage. Some varieties of UL are suited for people who want to tie their cash value gains to market performance (indexed and variable universal life insurance).</div>

<div>Downsides: If cash value is your main interest, not all UL policies guarantee you’ll make gains. And if you’re interested in flexible premiums payments, you have to stay on top of your policy’s status to make sure that the policy’s fees and charges don’t deplete your cash value and cause it to lapse. Understand what’s guaranteed within a UL policy and what isn’t.</div>

<div><strong>Burial &amp; Funeral Insurance</strong></div>

<div>The basics: You may see this kind of policy called burial, funeral or final expense insurance. It’s often offered as a policy that you can’t be turned down for and that doesn’t require a medical exam.</div>

<div>Who is it good for: These types of policies are generally for people in poor health who don’t have other life insurance options and who need insurance for funeral expenses.</div>

<div>Downsides: Burial insurance policies are expensive, based on the amount of coverage you get. They also have a safeguard for the life insurance company: Your beneficiaries won’t get the full death benefit if you pass away within two or three years after buying the policy.</div>

<div>Check the policy’s timeline for these “graded death benefits.” Your beneficiaries might receive only a refund of the premiums you paid in, plus some interest.</div>

Survivorship life insurance might be used to fund a trust, for example. It’s also suited for high net worth couples who want to provide money to heirs for estate taxes. Or it could be used by a couple to provide a donation to charity.</div>

<div>Η παραγωγή των ακαθάριστων εγγεγραμμένων ασφαλίστρων της Εταιρείας, όπως αναφέρονται για εποπτικούς και φορολογικούς σκοπούς, σημείωσε σημαντική αύξηση για το έτος 2019, φτάνοντας τα €293,8 εκατ. σε σύγκριση με το 2018 όπου η παραγωγή έφτασε τα €263,4 εκατ.</div>

<div>Ο κλάδος VII Διαχείρισης Ομαδικών Συνταξιοδοτικών Κεφαλαίων σημείωσε αύξηση 19.2% (+€20,2 εκατ. σε σχέση με το 2018) κυρίως λόγω εισφορών από νέα παραγωγή (από τακτικές και έκτακτες καταβολές), αλλά και από αύξηση 18.9% στην παραγωγή ασφαλίστρων του κλάδου ΙΙΙ Ζωής που συνδέεται με επενδύσεις (+€5,8 εκατ. σε σχέση με το 2018).</div>

<div>Σημειώνεται ότι το έτος του 2019, η Ιδιωτική Ασφάλιση σημείωσε αύξηση 16.9% στα μικτά εγγεγραμμένα ασφάλιστρα Ζωής όπως επίσης και οι ασφαλίσεις Ατυχημάτων και Υγείας, με βάση δημοσιευμένη έρευνα της Ένωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιρειών Ελλάδος.</div>

<div>Συγκεκριμένα, τα συνολικά μικτά εγγεγραμμένα ασφάλιστρα των κλάδων Ασφαλίσεων Ζωής αλλά και των κλάδων «Ατυχήματα» και «Ασθένειες» των Ασφαλίσεων Ζημιών ανήλθαν σε €2,297 δις για το 2019 σε σχέση με €1,971 δις για το 2018 (αύξηση κατά 16.5% προερχόμενη κυρίως από τους κλάδους Ασφαλίσεων Ζωής).</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Οι ζημιές προ φόρων ανήλθαν στα €41,9 εκατ. το 2019, σε σχέση με τα κέρδη του 2018 που ανήλθαν σε €21,3 εκατ. Οι ζημιές οφείλονται στο περιβάλλον πολύ χαμηλών επιτοκίων όπως αυτό διαμορφώθηκε στο 2019, το οποίο είχε αρνητική επίδραση €48,2 εκατ. στην εκτίμηση των τεχνικών προβλέψεων στα εν ισχύ χαρτοφυλάκια των εγγυήσεων της Εταιρίας την 31η Δεκεμβρίου 2019. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η Εταιρία, έχει σταματήσει να γράφει νέες εργασίες σε προϊόντα εγγυήσεων από το 2015. Εξαιρώντας την επίδραση του χαμηλού περιβάλλοντος επιτοκίων, τα λειτουργικά κέρδη προ φόρων της εταιρίας ανήλθαν σε €6,3 εκατ.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Το αποτέλεσμα μετά από φόρους ανήλθε σε ζημιά €55,1 εκατ. το 2019 έναντι ζημιών €1,0 εκατ. για το 2018, λόγω της πρόσφατης αλλαγής στην νομοθεσία που μειώνει περαιτέρω τον συντελεστή φορολογίας εταιρικών κερδών, επηρεάζοντας την Αναβαλλόμενη Φορολογική Απαίτηση. Τα μικτά εγγεγραμμένα ασφάλιστρα της Εταιρείας σύμφωνα με τα Δ.Π.Χ.Α. ανήλθαν στα €135,6 εκατ. για τη χρήση που έληξε το 2019, ενώ για την αντίστοιχη περίοδο του 2018, ανήλθαν στα €132,5 εκατ.</div>

<div>Η αύξηση στο 2019 οφείλεται κυρίως στην αύξηση του ατομικού χαρτοφυλακίου Υγείας και Ατυχημάτων. Τα λοιπά έσοδα επενδύσεων της Εταιρείας παρουσίασαν μείωση στα €23,6 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι €24,9 εκατ. για το 2018, έχοντας επηρεαστεί από το περιβάλλον χαμηλών επιτοκίων και τη διαφοροποίηση της επενδυτικής πολιτικής με σκοπό τη διατήρηση υψηλής πιστοληπτικής διαβάθμισης για το χαρτοφυλάκιο των ομολόγων.</div>

<div>Η αύξηση στα λοιπά έσοδα επενδύσεων συνοδεύτηκε από πραγματοποιηθέντα κέρδη από πωλήσεις επενδύσεων (€5,5 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι €5,0 εκατ. για το 2018) καθώς και από κέρδη από την αποτίμηση επενδύσεων (€64,0 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι ζημιών €25,0 εκατ. για το 2018), προερχόμενα κυρίως από τα χαρτοφυλάκια των Ομαδικών Συνταξιοδοτικών συμβολαίων για τα οποία τον επενδυτικό κίνδυνο αλλά και το όφελος φέρουν οι ασφαλισμένοι. Τα συνολικά έξοδα της Εταιρίας συμπεριλαμβανόμενων των αποζημιώσεων, της μεταβολής των τεχνικών προβλέψεων και των συνολικών εξόδων (σταθερών και μεταβλητών) ανήλθαν σε €270,5 εκατ. για το 2019, έναντι €116,9 εκατ. για το 2018. Οι αποζημιώσεις ασφαλισμένων ανήλθαν σε €104,1 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι €99,7 εκατ. για το 2018.</div>

<div>Η μεταβολή μαθηματικών αποθεμάτων και τεχνικών προβλέψεων ανήλθε σε αύξηση €117,9 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι μείωσης €28,2 εκατ. για το 2018 κυρίως λόγω της αύξησης των τεχνικών προβλέψεων από τα χαρτοφυλάκια των Ομαδικών Συνταξιοδοτικών συμβολαίων και χαρτοφυλακίων UnitLinked για τα οποία τον επενδυτικό κίνδυνο και όφελος φέρουν οι ασφαλισμένοι, ως αποτέλεσμα της θετικής αποτίμησης των περιουσιακών στοιχείων αυτών και συνοδεύονται από αντίστοιχη αύξηση στα έσοδα επενδύσεων (θετική αποτίμηση €64,0 εκατ. για το 2019 έναντι υποτίμησης €25,0 εκατ. για το 2018), αλλά και την αρνητική επίδραση €48,2 εκατ. που είχε το χαμηλό περιβάλλον επιτοκίων, στην εκτίμηση των τεχνικών προβλέψεων στα εν ισχύ χαρτοφυλάκια των εγγυήσεων την 31η Δεκεμβρίου 2019.</div>

<div>Για το έτος 2019 η Εταιρεία κάλυψε επαρκώς το σύνολο των κεφαλαιακών απαιτήσεων της που απορρέουν από το σύστημα της Φερεγγυότητας ΙΙ.</div>

Οι δείκτες φερεγγυότητας SCR και MCR με χρήση επιτοκίων άνευ κινδύνου και προσαρμογής λόγω μεταβλητότητας είναι αντίστοιχα 100% και 199% κατά την 31.12.2019, ενώ το έτος 2018 οι δείκτες φερεγγυότητας SCR και ΜCR ήταν αντίστοιχα 126% και 327%.</div>
